1. Direct Contract Jobs: These are rare and primarily available for IT and programming professionals. Multinational companies with offices in Germany may also offer direct contracts. Another option is the Blue Card, which allows you to stay in Germany for one year while looking for work.
2. Through German Universities: Universities in Germany do not charge tuition fees, though living expenses are around 1.2 million KES per year. Part-time jobs can help cover these expenses.
3. Ausbildung (Apprenticeship): This is the easiest entry point. It requires at least a Form 4 certificate, with higher chances for those holding technical certificates or diplomas. The Ausbildung program involves working for 3 days and attending classes for 2 days a week, with salary, food, and accommodation provided for 2-3 years before transitioning to the formal job market.
